It’s impossible to fly when you’re carrying a heavy weight

So, if you’ve been wanting to fly higher for years but still find yourself weighed down at ground level, read on…

You were born with only two fears, the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Any other fears, including worries, anxieties or phobias, have developed as a result of your life experiences. You may feel afraid of failing, or you may actually be afraid of succeeding. You may have a fear of being ridiculed, being alone, being rejected, or being not good enough…and these fears are likely to be stopping you from achieving your dreams and
manifesting your goals.

The majority of our fears are irrational and created by the power of our imagination. When we spend time worrying about things that might go wrong, we create the same uncomfortable feelings within ourselves as if they already have! As well as causing ourselves emotional pain over something that hasn’t even happened, this can hold us back in life so we miss out on new opportunities and experiences and limit the quality of our lives.

I’ve worked with so many clients who have spent their lives ‘staying small’, for fear of even putting themselves in positions where they might feel vulnerable.
Some people avoid relationships altogether for fear of being hurt, others engage in unhealthy relationships because they fear being alone. Others stay in overly challenging or dead-end jobs for years on end, because they fear they’re not worthy of even applying for more rewarding or better-paid positions. Then there are people who worry incessantly about what other people think of them, and those who have successful careers or relationships but feel like they’re impostors and live in fear of being ‘found out’.

We were all born with the potential to shine in our own unique way but our self-belief becomes buried under the layers of self-doubt and fear we develop during our early years. This happens as a result of the childhood messages and experiences we have, which leads to our limiting beliefs. Once we become aware of those untrue, unhelpful messages and beliefs, we can begin to release them and set ourselves free to fly.

So, just think about where you are right now – and then think about where you’d really like to be… Now ask yourself what’s been holding you back so far? Whatever you focus your attention on grows stronger so it’s important from now on to start focusing on what you want, instead of what you don’t want. The 7 life-changing steps along the journey to emotional freedom – as shared in my book – will provide you with powerful tools and techniques to release your fears and self-doubts, and allow your light to shine.

‘There is freedom waiting for you on the breezes of the sky, and you ask
‘What if I fall?’ Oh but my darling, what if you fly?’
